About CESEF
The purpose of the Canadian Evaluation
Society Educational Fund (CESEF) is to provide scholarships,
awards, and educational opportunities to Canadians wishing to
further their knowledge within the field of “Evaluation.”
Goals and Objectives:
To promote the integration of program evaluation into practice in Canada.
To provide tangible assistance to students of
program evaluation pursuing studies or internships/mentorships
for the purpose of improving the theory and practice of program
evaluation.
To obtain resources and in-kind contributions
including volunteer time to enable the delivery of assistance to
students, including those through soliciting, obtaining and accepting
gifts, donations, and bequests from all sources.
CESEF is governed by a Board of experienced evaluation
specialists who are convinced of the importance of expanding program
evaluation expertise in Canada and around the world. We believe
that good evaluation of programs increases their effectiveness
and thus provides benefit for society.
